The Australia/NZ Regional Member Advisory Board (RMAB) of Virtuoso assembled at the Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa just prior to the 2023 AU/NZ Owner Managers Forum.
The local region pioneered the concept of an RMAB which has now been replicated in all other regions Virtuoso has a presence.
Meeting monthly, the RMAB used the latest catch-up to discuss topics including:
- the Regional preferred partner program: analyse how Virtuoso is targeting and working with existing partners in the regional partnerships program, which is being spearheaded by Nikki Glading, Account Director, Partner Relations at Virtuoso. The RMAB works collaboratively with Virtuoso’s global team to appoint regional partners to work with that work with its agencies.
- Member standards – discussions on bringing the right members for the Virtuoso network based on a set of criteria.
- Collaborate on types of events, new and innovative – Virtuoso is launching a new event in June in Sydney – Virtuoso on Tour AU/NZ, Destination, as exclusively revealed by LATTE last August, bringing advisors together from around the region in Sydney.
- Mounting excitement around professional development initiatives – including the launch of Virtuoso Certified Travel Advisor program, also revealed by LATTE, and some Deep Dives training sessions.

“I’m excited by the way our advisory board collaborates with Virtuoso here in the region and globally,” said Anthony Goldman, Chair of the Virtuoso Global and AU/NZ Regional Advisory.
“It is important to be globally consistent whilst being regionally relevant. Virtuoso is determined to make all its programs relevant and customised in each region it operates. You can see the resources and efforts in this area which are just fantastic,” Goldman added.
This latest RMAB session was also observed by the visiting Virtuoso leadership team of Jennifer Campbell, SVP, Network Products and Events; Cory Hagopian, SVP, Sales and Partnerships; Brad Bourland, Chief Operating Officer; and Michael Londrega, SVP Global Operations.
