Silversea Cruises has formally confirmed the appointment of Philippa Walker as Marketing Director, Asia-Pacific. Walker made the announcement on social media last month.
Walker has joined Silversea from parent company Royal Caribbean where she was Partnerships Manager, aligning across commercial, media, tourism and PR partners to grow revenue.

Walker has led sales and marketing teams across the travel, hospitality and media Industry for more than 25 years. Walker was Head of Client Partnerships, Travel at Fairfax/Nine leading the largest commercial team at Fairfax, then Nine for three years. Walker worked with the Australian travel industry across Traveller, Good Weekend, AFR, SMH, Nine Broadcast and Digital.
Before joining Fairfax, Walker had spent 16 years leading group marketing at The Travel Corporation which includes travel brands Trafalgar, Uniworld, Insight, Contiki and AAT Kings, before leading the marketing and sales team at Uniworld Boutique River Cruises.
