In addition, Claremont Cruise and Travel Centre will be able to leverage Bicton Travel’s industry expertise, and strong reputation for quality and customer service to continue providing top-quality travel services to customers.

Former agency owner Lyn Murphy said, “When I began considering my future retirement, I instantly thought the business would be in great hands with Carole and Phil from Bicton Travel. The staff and clients from Claremont Cruise and Travel Centre will be well taken care of working alongside the experienced Bicton Travel team.”

Gemma Smith has been appointed manager of Claremont Cruise and Travel Centre. She brings over 20 years of retail travel industry experience in the Perth metro area, to the company.

This is Bicton Travel’s first acquisition and comes off the back of the business’ most profitable two months on record, putting the company in its most profitable position since its inception in 1998.

The agency said its performance speaks to the continuation of strong consumer demand for premium travel cruise and experiences, plus the loyalty of returning clients who value expertise and booking through locally based travel advisors.

Well-established Claremont Cruise and Travel Centre will continue to operate under its current name, with its employees remaining in place, and Lyn continuing to consult within the business. Clients can expect to see new travel offerings within the branch as a result of the acquisition.
