Rocco Forte Hotels is expanding its Italian footprint, partnering with Sixth Street to launch the ultra-luxury hospitality company in Sardinia.
Formerly known as Hotel Le Palme, the resort is located in Porto Cervo in Costa Smeralda, which is being developed by Eidos Hotel Partners on behalf of Sixth Stree, which acquired the hotel in January 2022.
Slated to open in 2024, the hotel will feature 64 rooms and suites, offering the highest standards of comfort in both space and service. The fully redeveloped resort will also offer its guests a state-of-the-art spa and the choice of three restaurants as well as a panoramic rooftop bar and meeting and event space.

Patrizia Pozzi and Efisio Onali designed the resort landscape and architectural concept, while Patricia Urquiola has been appointed to the interior design. Natural materials and local craftsmanship, blended with ESG principles, are the core values of the development.
The luxury resort in Porto Cervo will complement the Rocco Forte Hotels properties which comprise of; Hotel de la Ville, Hotel de Russie and Rocco Forte House, Rome; Hotel Savoy, Florence; Verdura Resort, Rocco Forte Villas and Villa Igiea Sicily; Masseria Torre Maizza, Puglia; The Balmoral, Edinburgh; Brown’s Hotel, London; The Charles Hotel, Munich; Hotel de Rome, Berlin; Hotel Amigo, Brussels and Hotel Astoria, St Petersburg.
The Carlton Milan and Rocco Forte House Milan are scheduled to open in 2024.
