Small Luxury Hotels of the World has renewed its presence in Vietnam with the addition of new member The Anam Mui Ne.
Perched on the white sand beaches of the Southern coastal town of Mui Ne, the luxury beach resort sits at the heart of a vibrant natural landscape that appeals to multi-generations with diverse beauty and experiences.
The Anam Mui Ne’s 127 rooms and suites across six accommodation categories offer views of the ocean, lush gardens, the resort’s two saltwater and freshwater swimming pools as well as Mui Ne town. The design ethos pays homage to the craftsmanship of old, fusing Vietnamese and Indochine artisanal elements with indigenous materials, customised antique-style tiling and natural colour palettes.

Both of The Anam Mui Ne’s restaurants reflect the diversity of Vietnam’s heritage and cuisine. Comprising an all-day dining restaurant and grill called The Indochine, beachside restaurant and bar Lang Viet Restaurant and Bar, Saigon Bar in the lobby and 24/7 in-room dining, the resort’s F&B offerings range from gourmet delicacies to traditional home-style cooking and street food-inspired classics.
With architecture inspired by the grand French villas in Hanoi and the garden homes of Central Vietnam, the resort pays homage to both colonial-era and classic Vietnamese aesthetics such as customised encaustic mosaic tiles, Cham decorative vases and statues on plinths, teak furniture crafted from sustainable forests, stone from Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, and authentic thatched roofs from Binh Thuan.
Vietnamese artists were commissioned to create 250 oil paintings depicting scenes of Vietnamese life for each room and suite, in addition to the lobby, restaurants and hallways.
“We are delighted to set our footprint in Vietnam once again with The Anam Mui Ne,” said Mark Wong, Senior Vice President Asia Pacific, Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
“Vietnam is fast becoming one of the most sought-after destinations owing to its diverse natural conditions and topography for travellers. Surrounded by diverse natural landscapes and lush foliage, The Anam Mui Ne is an ideal spot to experience what Vietnam’s outdoor tourism can offer, being one of Southeast Asia’s premier kitesurfing spots, and complemented with a nostalgic old-world Indochine charm.”
