Condé Nast Traveller has named its ‘Hot List’ of the cruise world for 2023, a selection of what the publisher calls “a curated collection of the world’s best new cruises”.
The list names nine ships, almost all of which have only been launched, or rebranded under new ownership, in the past 12-18 months. The stable includes vessels in the river, ocean, expedition and yachting markets.
One of the elite crowd was fully renovated in 2022 and made the cut. Only ultra-luxury cruise line Silversea had more than one ship on the list.

Now in its 27th year, Condé Nast Traveller describes this edition’s collection as “the world’s best new cruises” that includes a ship that “ups passengers’ access to places like Greenland and Antarctica. Plus, there are brand-new itineraries and classic options alike for hitting all your favourite destinations – from a Nile River option to an exciting new circuit of the South of France.”
The 2023 Hot List includes:
Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady (launched in August 2021)

Silversea’s Silver Dawn (launched in April 2022)

The Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection’s Evrima (launched in October 2022)

Viking’s Viking Osiris (launched in August 2022)

Windstar Star Pride (re-launched after renovation in June 2022)
