itravel has confirmed the appointment of Joe Karbo as Chief Operating Officer. The appointment of a senior executive with the Australian independent home-based network was foreshadowed exclusively by LATTE last month.
Steve Labroski, Chief Executive Officer said the itravel group had experienced several years of exponential growth and required a shift to take the business to the next level.
Karbo has 20+ years’ experience in the travel and tourism sectors including Group CEO for Wendy Wu and more recently as Chief Operating Officer for the Moresand Group in the UK, before returning to Australia recently.

Labroski told LATTE that he’d had discussions with Karbo about his vision for itravel and how things were developing, saying he believes “Joe fits his business really well.”
“Joe has all the credentials to drive our business in the right direction and create sustainable long-term growth for the itravel group,” Labroski added.
Commenting on his new position, Karbo said: “itravel has always been a company that I’ve admired and to be part of their journey for the next chapters is very exciting. There’s a lot of interesting projects on the go, so it’s great to be joining the business now, supporting Steve and the itravel network,” he added.
Karbo commenced in the role with itravel effective 1 May 2023.
