Disney Cruise Line (DCL) has committed to a second season in the South Pacific, confirming the redeployment of Disney Wonder to Australia and New Zealand from October 2024 to February 2025. The return season was foreshadowed exclusively by LATTE on 14 March 2023 after DCL had secured port berths at three capitals – a key indicator of operation intention.
Disney Cruise Line said it was “returning by popular demand” with a season of two- to seven-night cruises, sailing from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane (DCL had held slots at all three ports, as flagged only in LATTE), and Auckland, New Zealand.
The renewed season follows an “incredible response to Disney Cruise Line’s inaugural Australia and New Zealand season that will commence in late October 2023,” the cruise line said.

“We were thrilled by the incredible response to our inaugural sailings in Australia and New Zealand and can’t wait to return in October 2024,” said Sharon Siskie, Senior VP and General Manager, Disney Cruise Line.
“We look forward to bringing the magic of Disney to this beautiful part of the world as we welcome both returning guests and those who are new to our special brand of family cruising.”
The 2024/2025 itineraries include a new seven-night cruise and select sailings that include ports of call at Hobart in Tasmania, Eden in NSW and Noumea in New Caledonia.

The new season of Disney Magic at Sea Australia and New Zealand cruises will commence on 19 October 2024.
Bookings will open for general sale from 27 June 2023.
