Singapore’s newest hospitality concept provides a gateway to all that the city’s chic, art-forward Duxton district has to offer. Guests have the chance to meet a team of ‘unexpected talents’; Mondrian’s charming all-star cast of iconoclasts and change-makers from across the fields of hospitality, cuisine, design, fashion, nightlife, and art, who are dedicated to delivering hospitality unlike any other.
Designed by Los Angeles-based hotshop Studio Carter, the resort draws inspiration from the heritage conservation area’s unconventional architecture and melting pot of culture. A bustling restaurant and bar has replaced the traditional lobby, while the Duxton neighbourhood’s barista cafes, Michelin-starred eateries, bars, avant-garde galleries and independent boutiques are close by.
From the original Mondrian located in the heart of Los Angeles’ strip to properties in New York, Miami, London, Cannes, Doha and Seoul, the brand has always been about transforming and defining the neighbourhoods in which they are found.
