Silversea tweaks trade recognition program

Winning agency/owner to score an all-inclusive getaway for two!

Silversea has fine-tuned its trade recognition program, Campioni di Silversea, for 2023 to now recognise its top 10 travel agencies in Australia and New Zealand – down from the previous 20.

Through the program, the ultra-luxury cruise and expedition operator will recognise its top expedition seller, top new-to-brand seller and most-improved seller over the past year, among other awards.

Available to top supporting travel agencies in Australia and New Zealand, and based on calendar year sales, Campioni di Silversea will also now offer a luxury, all-inclusive 2-3 night getaway for the owner/manager of the winning agency (including a plus one), early in the preceding year.

The reward also includes an airfare contribution. The winner will also receive a personalised trophy and a Magnum of Pommery Champagne to celebrate with their team.

Seven other travel advisor/agencies in Australia and New Zealand will also be spotlighted by the program based on their general sales achievements.

Steve Richards, Director of Sales Australia & New Zealand, said “Our trade partners are so important to us, and this recognition program is just one way we like to thank them for their continued support. We’ve had this program in place for over four years, and the trade has received it very well.

“We’ve taken the opportunity to re-jig the program for 2023 and make it more exclusive and therefore being able to provide a more generous reward offering.”

The qualification process (valid between 1 January and 31 December 2023) is based on:

  • The highest seven travel agencies for Net Revenue in the calendar year
  • The most improved travel agency in Australia & New Zealand (year-on-year) based on percentile increase in net revenue*
  • The highest travel agency for new-to-Silversea sales in passenger numbers
  • The highest travel agency for expedition sales in passenger numbers
Terms & Conditions: Among the conditions are: Silversea defines a travel agency as selling more than 80% of its Silversea sales as FIT or Group business, and agency numbers not exceeding 20 consultants. And, the most improved travel agency is limited to agents in the Silver or above tier cluster, and the winner determined based on the agency who has the greatest percentile increase in final 2023 net revenue, versus their 2019/22 gross weighted revenue average.
