Ultra-luxury hotelier signed for Bankside Yards development

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has unveiled plans for its third hotel in London, slated to welcome guests in 2028. Mandarin Oriental Bankside, London will be located on the city’s South Bank, offering views across the Thames to St Paul’s Cathedral, and easily accessible to the city and West End theatre and shopping precincts.

Part of the larger Bankside Yards development, Mandarin Oriental Bankside, London is expected to feature 171 rooms and 70 branded Residences of Mandarin Oriental, along with wellness and fitness facilities including s 25 metre lap pool, a Spa at Mandarin Oriental, four culinary outlets and event spaces.

The Residences at Mandarin Oriental will feature a sky lobby lounge and a private roof garden.

Mandarin Oriental currently operates the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, which reopened following a massive refurbishment in 2019. The Group is expecting to debut its second property in the British capital, Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London in the coming months.
