Seabourn Moment marked at the MCG

VIP experience for VIP travel advisors on the 'hallowed turf'

Ultra-luxury cruise and expedition operator Seabourn hosted a Seabourn Unique Experience in Melbourne last week for a group of high-flying travel advisors.

With a focus on the cruise line’s unique offerings, such as the iconic Caviar in the Surf, and Shopping with the Chef, to name a few, Seabourn’s local team created a Seabourn Experience at the spectacular Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

Anastasia Kotanidis, Key Account Manager for Seabourn hosted an unforgettable Melbourne-made event, that more than lived up to the definition of “ultra-luxury” by being exclusive and an enriching experience.

Trade partners were given access to the biggest sporting arena in Australia where they were hosted to ‘Champagne on the hallowed turf,’ with canapes and a VIP ‘insider’ tour of the Melbourne Cricket Club and Melbourne Cricket Ground, hosted by Barrie – an 83-year-old lifetime member, and a true legend himself!

Seabourn’s guests were escorted to The Committee Room and enjoyed a menu created by celebrity chef Guy Grossi, with all courses paired with Champagne by Sally Hillman, the purveyor of fine champagne. Hillman educated participants with all that’s new and exciting in the world of growers/producers of champagne.

Kotanidis was also able to formally reveal to the group that Hillman will be a future Conversationalist onboard one of Seabourn’s close-to-home voyages this summer.
