The world’s largest independent hotel brand, Preferred Hotels & Resorts, has launched ‘Unforgettable Moments: Stay where you’re preferred’. The campaign is a global promotion designed to inspire travellers to explore the world through the brand’s portfolio of more than 650 unique and independent hotels, resorts and residences.
Unforgettable Moments features more than 350 participating hotels where travellers can enjoy complimentary daily breakfast for two and a room upgrade (upon availability) when they book the promotion and stay two or more nights. Unforgettable Moments bookings can be made through 31 December 2023, and are valid for hotel stays through 31 March 2024, with a minimum two-night stay required. The offer is subject to availability and blackout dates may apply.
Booking incentive for travel agents
Travel agents will also benefit from a total commission of 12% (which includes an additional 2% bonus) for bookings made via GDS or directly with a qualifying IATA or TIDS number. With one-of-a-kind luxury hotel options in destinations that range from Andorra to Zanzibar, Preferred Hotels & Resorts will showcase the photography of various ‘Unforgettable Moments’ in photos as experienced by travellers and I Prefer Members across marketing channels throughout the year and into 2024.
Unforgettable Moments: Stay where you’re preferred highlight experiences
- A once-in-a-lifetime ‘big five’ experience at The Last Word Kitara in the Greater Kruger National Park, where the team organise personalised dining experiences in the bush.
- Snorkelling in the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the world’s second biggest reef, with a stay at NIZUC Resort & Spa in Cancun, on a one-time base station for Mayan astrologers.
- A romantic river cruise for two along Bangkok’s Chao Phraya from the private pier of The Siam on the hotel’s plushly furnished long-tail boat.
Relaunch of I Prefer Hotel Rewards program
The I Prefer Hotel Rewards program has also been relaunched with a new standalone website and app, plus an incentive. Travellers who book the promotion will be awarded 20,000 bonus I Prefer points for stays completed by 31 July 2023, enough points to redeem a free night at a variety of participating hotels, or ‘cash and points’ rates throughout the brand’s global portfolio. Guests not currently enrolled in the loyalty program can activate their complimentary membership at www.IPrefer.com/enroll prior to arrival or upon check-in at the participating hotel to receive the points bonus.
