Virgin Voyages has confirmed plans for a national, multi-city roadshow during the next month to mark Virgin Voyages’ arrival to Australian shores this coming summer.

Having launched its newest ship, Resilient Lady, this May, Virgin Voyages is building hype with events planned for Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. From this week and running through to 4 August, brand partners, tourism officials, media, influencers and First Mates (travel advisors) will have the opportunity to meet with Virgin Voyages executives and learn about the brand’s launch activities starting December.

Through a series of exclusive VIP events and media lunches, stakeholders will step into the world of Virgin Voyages’ elevated experiences, getting a deeper understanding of how the new brand sets itself apart from the pack with unique approaches to dining, interior design, on-board amenities, immersive shore excursions and entertainment.

Hosting the mission will be Australia’s Nathan Rosenberg, Chief Brand Officer for Virgin Voyages. Rosenberg will be joined by Shane Riley, Vice President of International Sales and Marketing; Billy Bohan Chinique, Director of Global Brand & Experience Strategy; and Mark Lowman, Australia and New Zealand Sales Manager.

Roadshow guests will also be treated to a Q&A discussion hosted by travel television presenter, Teigan Nash. Known for her inquisitive and upbeat interviews with the likes of Tom Cruise, Channing Tatum and Halle Bailey, Nash will host a fun Q&A aimed at providing attendees with insider knowledge of how Virgin Voyages is charting a course to change cruising for good.

Each roadshow event will immerse guests in Virgin Voyages’ high-end yet relaxed style at three unique venues including:

  • The Boathouse Rose Bay in Sydney, a Mykonos-inspired seaside restaurant
  • HER in Melbourne, an eclectic eatery and bar bringing mid-century mod vibes
  • Mr. Percival’s in Brisbane, a waterfront spot with skyline views and a Hamptons meets Amalfi Coast feel

The events will be inspired by the company’s new “Now We’re Voyaging” campaign – which will be broadcast across all Australian consumer channels from late August. Guests will be treated to surprise and delight moments synonymous with the Virgin brand and music from DJs Sarah Roberts (Sydney), Rachel Minx (Melbourne) and Shimmy Disco (Brisbane).

In gearing up for the first Virgin Voyages’ Australian roadshow, Rosenberg said: “The Virgin brand really resonates here, and we know how much Aussies love cruising. We’ve been talking about Australia since our debut in 2021, so we can’t wait to go Down Under and give travellers an incredible experience that’s unlike anything to hit the shores here ever before.”

Virgin Voyages currently has a 30% off saving on all South Pacific sailings, plus a complimentary $150 Bar Tab for cocktails, specialty coffees and more. The promotion runs until 30 September.
