‘Best of the Best’ celebrates a dozen years

A group of leading luxury suppliers has wound up its 2023 ‘Best of the Best‘ series of events which were held in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne in recent weeks.

Over 70 luxury travel advisors joined each event, which was co-hosted by Seabourn, COMO Hotels, Qantas, Taj Hotels, Anthony Knox Associates, The Legian and Inspired Luxury. Representatives from each supplier have the common objective to spotlight their products and experiences with leading frontline sellers, in a true celebration of collaboration and relationship building.

This year, the Best of the Best (BOTB) also celebrated its 12th anniversary. These events not only bring together the luxury travel community, it has become an annual event on the calendar everyone looks forward to.

12 years ago, over a few wines and intellectual conversations, the journey of BOTB began. Like-minded individuals curated a platform free to express itself, where everyone showcases their best without undermining anyone, where healthy and constructive competition is nurtured and where all solutions for luxury travel experiences can be found.

All three events were filled with the best of the best of the travel community sharing information over laughs, chats, fine wine and gourmet dinners. Best of all, amazing prizes were won, with the collective giving away more than $240,000 worth of prizes over the three events.

“At the Best of the Best, we believe it doesn’t get better than this!” a spokesperson for the group said.

In Melbourne this week, the Best of the Best team (lead image) were represented by: Jonica Paramor, COMO Hotels; Tony Knox, Anthony Knox & Associates; Thushara Liyanarachchi, Taj Hotels; Lynne Ireland, Inspired Luxury; Anastasia Kotanidis, Seabourn; Brenda Nash, The Legian and Jackie Snell from Qantas.

In Sydney, Seabourn was represented by Jennifer Compton, Key Accounts Manager.
