Swan Hellenic has named Beth Stolyar as Sales Director, Australia/New Zealand, effective immediately. Stolyar joins the cultural cruise specialist after nearly 4.5 years with MSC Cruises Australia where she held the title of Groups & Product Specialist. Interestingly, Swan Hellenic’s former General Manager for Australia and New Zealand was Brigita Devries, who joined MSC Cruises in late July as Senior Sales Manager ANZ.
According to Swan Hellenic, Stolyar drove a 400% increase in group business, and that she “will bring Swan Hellenic’s trade partners meticulous support underpinned by detailed market knowledge, in-depth customer insight and true personal commitment.”

Stolyar’s appointment coincides with a recently “invigorated Commercial Team”, which is now headed by Chief Commercial Officer Patrizia Iantorno.
Iantorno late last month was named as Chief Commercial Officer, following the departure of Alfredo Spadon. Spadon was SVP Global Sales and Marketing and, as he told LATTE last year, was one of the three founding fathers of the reborn Swan Hellenic. Iantorno herself also was with MSC Cruises for a number of years, based in Sydney as Marketing & Trade Marketing Director for Australasia before aligning with Swan Hellenic in February 2022.
Stolyar will report directly to Iantorno and have full strategic and commercial responsibility for the Australia and New Zealand market.

Swan Hellenic has three ships in its fleet – SH Minerva which launched in late 2021, twin-sister SH Vega that debuted in early 2022 and the newest ship in the fleet, SH Diana, entered service earlier this year.
