Purpose-built to navigate the Nile and sail Viking’s bestselling Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary, the new, state-of-the-art Viking Aton is inspired by Viking’s award-winning river and ocean ships with the elegant Scandinavian design for which Viking is known. Viking Aton joins Viking Osiris, which launched in 2022.
In addition to Viking Aton and Viking Osiris, identical sister ships, Viking Sobek and Viking Hathor, are under construction and will be delivered in 2024 and 2025, respectively. Additional ships in the Egypt fleet currently include Viking Ra and MS Antares; by 2025, Viking will have six ships sailing the Nile River.
Staterooms and Suites
The intimate ship offers a wide variety of staterooms for your client’s selection. From Deluxe staterooms to the abundance of extra perks and amenities in Viking’s spacious Explorer Suites, there’s no finer way to travel.
Every room in every category is an expression of elegance, with a calming coastal palette, clean lines and blonde natural timber creating a soothing sanctuary. It’s the little things that make the biggest difference. Expect more room to spread out and make yourself at home. Plus, smart storage solutions ensure you’ll never have to worry about where to put your things, and high-tech sound-proofing improves a blissful night’s sleep. You’ll also feel pampered by bathrooms equipped with heated floors and premium Freyja bath products.
Spanning up to 48 square metres, the Explorer Suites are more akin to an apartment than a river ship’s stateroom. All-inclusive and unmistakably exclusive, Explorer Suites come with perks and amenities to be expected of this indulgent class of accommodation, beginning long before embarkation. With only two Explorer Suites on board, be sure to book your clients early.
In addition to all stateroom amenities, Explorer Suites include:
- River-view suite with spacious, separate sitting room and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass door opening to a large veranda off the living room.
