Meliá Hotels International’s ME by Meliá brand will make its highly anticipated debut in the Asia Pacific region in 2027, with the launch of ME Guangzhou.

Located at Guangzhou Macau Place, within the Guangzhou International Financial City-Huangpu Bay Business Circle, ME Guangzhou boasts a prime location that is poised to become the second central business district of Guangzhou. The region is currently experiencing rapid progress with the commencement of the construction of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Express Rail Link next year, which aims to strengthen the connection between key cities in southern China including Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong.

The hotel will boast a diverse array of dining options, including an all-day dining restaurant, specialty venues showcasing culinary excellence, a Mediterranean-style bistro, and a rooftop bar.

In addition to the ME Guangzhou, the ME by Meliá brand will open at least four more hotels in 2023 and 2024 in Malaga (Spain), Malta, Lisbon (Portugal) and Guadalajara (Mexico), extending the footprint of a collection of designer hotels. There are currently eight hotels in the portfolio across Europe, Middle East, The Americas and Mexico, including ME Dubai, ME Milan Il Duca, ME London, ME Madrid, ME Ibiza, ME Barcelona, ME Sitges and ME Cabo.
