Ocean overview

MS EUROPA and MS EUROPA 2 will operate between them. The program will include popular travel combinations aboard EUROPA and extend over a total of five stages with a length of 42 to 154 days. The travel combinations, which can also be booked as individual trips, will take the EUROPA to the east coast of Canada and the USA from September 2025 for a detour on the legendary sea route from Hamburg to New York for the “Indian Summer”. She returns to Europe in October and then sails through the Mediterranean and the Suez Canal before setting off on adventures around the African continent, including Madagascar.

At the beginning of February, EUROPA leaves Cape Town and heads along the West African coast to the Canary Islands. She then explores the Mediterranean intensively and finally returns to Hamburg in June 2026. Until September, guests can look forward to short arrivals and departures: the travel start and destination will exclusively be German ports.

EUROPA 2 will explore the coastlines of numerous continents, vibrant metropolises and ports that have not been on the schedule for a long time, such as the Canary Islands or Iceland. A 10-day trip roundtrip New York itinerary will be ideal for pre-Christmas shopping. The subsequent Christmas trip from New York to Colon combines eastern USA with the hot temperatures of the Caribbean. EUROPA 2 will then explore Hawaii, the South Seas and South America before heading from Rio de Janeiro across the Atlantic back to Tenerife at the end of March. From May onwards, trips between three and 14 days will follow around European coasts in the North and Baltic Seas and the Mediterranean.

Expedition overview

HANSEATIC nature, HANSEATIC spirit and HANSEATIC inspiration are travelling around the globe in the 2025/26 season. Equipped with the highest ice class for passenger ships and with a low draft, the three identical and modern ships master routes to the polar regions as well as to warm water destinations. HANSEATIC nature mainly travels European routes on expeditions without long journeys. In addition to Northern Lights trips to Norway and winter adventures in Lapland, expeditions around the British and Atlantic islands are on the program. In addition, she will set off on a pioneering course in the summer of 2026 and discover the island of Kvitöya for the first time on her trip around Spitsbergen.

HANSEATIC inspiration heads for both Antarctica and the Pacific before sailing through the legendary Northwest Passage and setting course for the Great Lakes, just in time for the “Indian Summer”, whose numerous locks and canals she can navigate thanks to the retractable bridge wings.

In addition to the polar regions, the South Seas and Japan’s island world as well as Amazon trips are on the schedule for the HANSEATIC spirit. On the Pacific route, it combines the hustle and bustle of large metropolises with the loneliness of the distant dream coasts of Micronesia – with premiere calls from Japan to Palau.
