MSC Cruises adds new Western Med winter itinerary

MSC Orchestra redeployed from the Red Sea to Valencia homeport

MSC Cruises has introduced a new itinerary for MSC Orchestra for this coming winter after pulling the ship from the Red Sea. Between 16 December 2023 and19 April 2024, MSC Orchestra will now operate roundtrip seven-night voyages from Valencia, Spain; to the ports of Cagliari, Sardinia; Civitavecchia for Rome, Livorno for Pisa and Florence, Italy; Marseille, France and Palma in Mallorca before returning to Valencia.

This new program has been introduced to replace the Red Sea itineraries that were cancelled last week due to the proximity of some of the ports of call to Israel and the restrictions in place in some bordering countries.

MSC Cruises added that the safety of its passengers and crew is “always its utmost priority and during an evolving situation it will continue to monitor the situation and modify ship itineraries if necessary.”
