Strong cruise focus for independent luxury Australian travel network

The Savenio network of independent consultants met in Sydney last weekend for the Savenio Symposium & Travel Mart 2023. The two-day event included team networking on Sydney harbor aboard luxury Superyacht Quantum, peer-to-peer learning and development opportunities, capped off with product updates from Travel Mart suppliers that had a distinct cruise focus.

David Brandon, Managing Director, Savenio, said “A lot has changed in our industry since last we met as a network in 2019.

These gatherings are our way of celebrating team successes, imparting knowledge from our Travel Mart partners and guiding and inspiring consultants to keep up the impressive growth of their businesses that we’re seeing year on year.”

“This impressive growth that we see year on year is why we are consistently ranked in the top 5 as a network for production by Virtuoso. A fact that I’m personally very proud of,” Brandon said.

Symposium 2023 kicked off on Sydney Harbour thanks to Savenio’s Platinum sponsor Silversea as they welcomed guests aboard a sunset cruise on Quantum.

Regent Seven Seas, Ponant, Paul Gauguin, Virgin Voyages, Explore Journeys, Oceania and Viking where among the other cruise-focused updates, along with a keynote presentation from Jennifer Compton from Seabourn.

Other Travel Mart updates included presentations from hotel partners and luxury representative companies about the summer 2024 season and beyond.

Craig Farrell, Director of Sales for La Collectuon shared his insights with the Savenio team, from upgrades and additions at both San Montano and Borgo Santandrea properties in Italy, to Myconian Collection’s latest addition in Mykonos Town and a complete re-launch of Blue Palace on Crete.

Savenio was also keen to share new marketing updates with the network and unveil the 2024 marketing strategy. Together, Brandon and Key Partner Relationship Manager, Hannah Bennett, updated the network about a refreshed new branding direction, a new Savenio brand website along with white label websites for each independent consultant with the purposeof creating more efficient enquiry and sales conversion.

Bennett updated IC’s on a new marketing strategy that aims to “service our clients with more efficiency, speed and precision”. We have partnered with Genesis to drive web and email campaigns that are curated and exclusive to Savenio that will have a real impact on IC’s businesses.

In closing out Symposium and Travel Mart 2023, Brandon concluded, saying “the foundation of our success is by far in its people and their deep connection and support of one another.”
