Viking Expedition clients can choose from six dining options, all at no additional charge
A great day begins on board Viking Octantis or Viking Polaris with a selection of healthy culinary options to fuel a day of adventure. Guests can choose from a wide range of dishes, from breakfast classics to simple but nourishing fare inspired by Norwegian tradition.
Your clients can follow up a spirited excursion to a penguin-populated isle or kayaking Lake Superior’s emerald waters with a delicious meal on board their ship. Viking has an array of unique options to tempt your clients: The Restaurant and their alternative Italian restaurant, Manfredi’s, offer world-class fine dining, while more casual dishes can be found at The World Café. For lighter fare, try Mamsen’s Norwegian offerings, baked delicacies from their 24-hour bakery or room service.
The elegant dining venue, The Restaurant, offers the ultimate onboard dining experience. Regional cuisines and always-available classics are served surrounded by sweeping exterior views.
Inspired by Italy’s beloved trattorias, Manfredi’s Italian Restaurant offers the best of Italian cuisine, as well as a private dining room—providing the perfect opportunity to have an intimate meal with family or friends.
With live cooking, an open kitchen and premium seafood/sushi choices and a grill, the casual World Café provides a vibrant interactive experience and a wide range of international flavours.
Named for “Mamsen”, the Hagen family matriarch, this venue offers Norwegian specialties including waffles according to Mamsen’s original recipe, open-faced sandwiches and split pea soup.
Enjoy mulled wine, hot chocolate or ship matured aquavit and relax with new friends in this Viking – inspired, light-filled space while taking in the stunning beauty that surrounds you.
Viking know that a refreshing beer with lunch or a full-bodied red with dinner can really round off a perfect dining experience, so they make sure wine and beer are included with onboard lunches and dinners. Clients can also enjoy specialty tea and coffee and bottled water throughout their journey, at no charge.
They can also bring their own wine, beer and spirits on board to enjoy anywhere on the ship, and they’ll never charge them a corkage fee, it’s just another way Viking make you feel at home.
And for those clients who like to wind down with a cocktail after another beautiful day at sea or exploring ashore, they can do so for less than what they would pay back home. Enjoy beer, wine and spirits from US$6.50, or explore their extensive beverage selection onboard with a Silver Spirits Beverage Package. From just US$25 per person per day they can access unlimited premium wine, house champagne, sparkling wine, beer and a selection of spirits.
