Cunard breaks Black Friday period bookings

"Unparalleled booking" demand, says President Katie McAlister

Cunard has reported its highest-ever number of guest bookings over the recent Black Friday period. The luxury cruise line has seen strong booking momentum across 2024 and 2025 sailings, with Queen Anne‘s European itineraries proving to be particularly popular with guests.

Meanwhile, on Sunday 3 December, the iconic Queen Elizabeth arrived in Melbourne, marking the first of the ship’s seven calls to the city during the luxury British cruise line’s 2023/24 Australia and New Zealand homeport season.

Cunard’s flagship Queen Mary 2 will visit the city in February 2024. Together, the two iconic Cunard Queens will inject over AU$12.9 million into the local economy. 

Queen Elizabeth will be homeported across Melbourne and Sydney for the duration of her season Down Under, sailing 13 itineraries in total across Australia and New Zealand before heading to Japan on 13 March 2024.
