Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is preparing to roll out a new price and offer structure from March 2024. The three tariffs – PLATINUM, GOLD and SILVER – differ in terms of the services included and their availability.
In the future, customers will benefit from tailor-made booking options as well as early bird discounts across all fleets. The innovation aims to further increase the transparency of the price and offer structure and to present the options in a clearer format. The new tariff structure applies to all new bookings from March 2024.
Guests who would like to book a trip with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ luxury or expedition ships from March 2024 can see the available tariffs online at any time.
The clear offer structure distinguishes between three tariffs. The availability of the GOLD or SILVER tariff is not guaranteed, meaning if potential customers want to be on the safe side, they should choose the PLATINUM tariff. This grants all previous advantages and services and can be booked at any time for all trips. It also gives guests the freedom to choose their suite or cabin and the deck themselves.
As usual, the shore excursions can be booked immediately after they are published. Cancellation cost insurance with a deductible of only 20% and an early bird discount are also included.
The GOLD tariff contains the same advantages and services as the PLATINUM tariff, with the only exception being the suite or cabin, and the deck, are chosen by Hapag-Lloyd Cruises.
A new addition is the SILVER tariff. If there are special conditions for trips that have already been published, they can be found here. The suite or cabin and deck cannot be chosen by the guest. The deposit is also higher and the shore excursions can only be booked 14 days after they are published. Cancellation cost insurance can be optionally supplemented as an additional service. In addition, no early bird discount is possible.
With the publication of the prices for the 2025/2026 season at the beginning of this year, guests will receive an early bird discount on the trips published therein up to 365 days before departure. To ensure the greatest possible transparency, there are fixed euro amounts. These will be introduced uniformly across the entire Hapag-Lloyd Cruises fleet and depend on the length of the trip.
