Emma Whiting Travel & Cruise has been confirmed as a new addition to the Luxury Travel Collection (LTC). The Clifton Hill agency in Victoria will join LTC from 1 February 2024, together with Robyn and Murray Sinfield’s Home Travel Company.
Danielle Galloway, Global Managing Director of the Luxury Travel Collection, said: “The Luxury Travel Collection is the leading global house of luxury travel brands. Our hand-selected members have established their stellar professional reputations by elevating travel to the very highest standards, with discerning clients at the centre of their business strategy.”
Robyn and Murray Sinfield, and Emma Whiting join an esteemed community of luxury independent members revealed in early December, including Carole and Phil Smethurst of Bicton Travel and Claremont Travel & Cruise; Stuart Ingram and Destination HQ; Stephen Green of Travel Experts and Hilary and Holly Weir of Dream Maker Travel.
Nikki Glading, General Manager of the Luxury Travel Collection’s Member Portfolio said she was immediately impressed by the expertise and the experience of Emma and her team.
“Emma Whiting Travel & Cruise in Victoria is a strong addition to our exceptional community of luxury independent members. We are so proud that she’s joining our portfolio.
“Her business acumen, successful history and her confidence in her team to continue to service her clients so impressively is second-to-none,” Glading said.
“And of course, Robyn and Murray Sinfield need no introduction. This incredible team are icons in the industry with Home Travel Company known as one of the very finest agencies in Australia.”
Whiting says her specialty is the combination of exceptional travel expertise she offers clients.
“Yes, you can research your holidays, book travel online or with others, but what you cannot get elsewhere is our team. Our combined knowledge, our firsthand experiences, our industry experience, our care, passion, and service offerings are ours. The synergy of our team, the input from many into our client’s trips makes them all unique and that’s what I love,” Whiting said.
Based in Tasmania, with an incredible 40 years of experience, the Sinfields began their travel careers in May 1984, investing in a local travel institution that started in 1958 with one owner.
“Little did we know that the local industry leaders took bets on how long we’d survive before we went broke,” said Robyn.
“We were the first people to take over a business in Tasmania without a travel background. We sold that very successful business to RACT in 2006 and began ‘working from anywhere’ WFA with a client portfolio that is strictly by word of mouth and referral. We continue to be awarded by our industry and we are proud to lead a team of dedicated independent advisors who share our passion for offering the best customer service possible,” Murray added.
“The passion, professionalism and networks of both Emma Whiting and the Sinfields are well-known to anyone in luxury travel. We are very fortunate indeed to celebrate the arrival of these fantastic members,” Glading added.
The Luxury Travel Collection’s Member Portfolio is by personal invitation, and based on shared values of Influence, Distinction, Vision, Dynamism and Empowerment.
“We are incredibly passionate about the strength of the partnerships we are establishing,” Galloway added. “We are building an incomparable house of luxury travel products, unparalleled experiences and services for our exceptional members.”
