Royal Davui embarks on extensive refurbishment

Staged renovations expected for completion by June 2024

Royal Davui Island Resort has commenced an extensive refurbishment set to redefine luxury and exclusivity in the South Pacific.

With a legacy spanning 20 years and owned and run by visionary, Christopher Southwick, the refurbishment marks the resort’s continued evolution as a luxurious, adults-only resort, marrying modern sophistication with the rich cultural heritage of Fiji. The resort’s intimate atmosphere in the world famous Beqa Lagoon, with only 16 villas accommodating a maximum of 32 guests at any one time, ensures personalised attention and privacy.

Scheduled for completion in June 2024, the million-dollar refurbishment encompasses every facet of the resort, from villas to world-class dining and recreational facilities and will signify a new chapter in Royal Davui’s legacy of creating one-of-a-kind experiences.

Highlights of the renovation include all-new dining, bar, and lounge furnishings at the Banyan Bar & Restaurant, featuring 3-metre wide cascading and custom-made rattan chandeliers, as well as a 3D custom artwork designed by owner, Christopher Southwick.

The new furnishings and designs promise to evoke a sense of tranquillity and serenity, blending in and complementing the natural beauty of the island.
