Former NFL star to deliver keynote address

1000 Mile Travel Group is gearing up for its highly anticipated second global conference, being held 14-17 March at the Hyatt Ziva in San José del Cabo. Embodying the theme “Strive & Thrive: Business Evolution 2024 & Beyond”, the event promises three days of insightful discussions, collaborative workshops, keynote speakers and immersive experiences.

Keynote speaker Marques Ogden, a former NFL player turned inspirational speaker and business coach, will kick off the conference with an address and workshop. Ogden’s journey, marked by adversity and ultimate triumph, serves as a testament to the power of resilience and determination.”

The conference agenda will feature peer-led panel discussions and an industry expert panel covering diverse aspects of the travel landscape. Offering practical insights and success stories from fellow advisors the conference fosters an environment where collaboration and knowledge exchange flourish.

Other highlights include Michelle Holmes, Virtuoso Account Director providing valuable insights on maximising the benefits of being a Virtuoso travel agent, a 90-minute trade show where attendees will be able to interact directly with suppliers, plus five-minute speed sessions giving advisors the opportunity for one-on-one discussions with suppliers they work with daily. Attendees can also look forward to a unique cultural breakout session, combining the art of salsa dancing with local culinary delights.

The conference concludes with a “Fluorescent Fiesta”  evening at the Hyatt Ziva Lagoon, featuring LED circus performers and DJ music. “Our closing party is a chance for sponsors, attendees, and their guests to come together and celebrate the connections made during the conference,” says Ross.
