Anthony Goldman honoured with Southern Cross Award

Virtuoso has revealed the winners of its annual Australia & New Zealand Forum during a gala dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok tonight.

The awards honour Virtuoso members and partners that elevate the travel industry and create memorable experiences for luxury travellers in Australia and New Zealand.

Goldman Travel, Frontier Travel and MTA – Mobile Travel Agents each were recognised with double gongs at the gala.

Travel Associates took the Member award for Top Cruise Producer.

Among the recepients was the emcee for the evening, outgoing Chair of the Virtuoso Global Member Advisory Board, Anthony Goldman of Goldman Travel Corporation, who was speechless stunned to be recognised with the Southern Cross Award.

Goldman this year celebrates 10 years of involvement with the luxury travel network. He told the 200 delegates attending the event “I don’t consider anyone a competitor. I’ll do anything. I’ll give advice… because we’re better together.”

Greg Treasure, new Virtuoso General Manager for Australia and New Zealand revealed the destination for the 2025 Australia & New Zealand Forum will be Perth, Western Australia, to be held at the Ritz-Carlton Perth, 25-26 February.
