Sales open for PONANT’s 2025/26 Antarctic season

Five ships, 40 departures including the return of Le Commandant Charcot

PONANT has released its Antarctic 2025/26 program, spanning October 2025 to March 2026 with 34 departures sailing eight itineraries aboard PONANT Sisterships – Le Boréal, Le Soléal, L’Austral and Le Lyrial, as well as six departures aboard Le Commandant Charcot, the world’s only luxury icebreaker.

During the season, PONANT will be present in the Antarctic throughout the southern summer period. From the Antarctic Peninsula to the Falklands, South Georgia, the Ross Sea, Chilian fjords and Valdés Peninsula, PONANT offers an opportunity to discover the White Continent at different moments in the lifecycle of local ecosystems, as diverse as they are different.

Reaching the ends of the Earth aboard Le Commandant Charcot

Follow in the wake of explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot, roaming the Weddell and Bellingshausen seas, and observing Adélie penguins. Thanks to her cutting-edge technologies, Le Commandant Charcot is the world’s only luxury icebreaker and commercial ship able to sail in the heart of the ice. Ashore, PONANT’s team of expedition experts lead daily shore excursions that can include snowshoe hikes, polar diving, zodiac landings, kayaking through the ice floe and much more.

After time spent ashore, guests can retreat to the comforts of Le Commandant Charcot’s heated pools, onboard spa, or the observatory lounge to soak in the expansive polar surroundings.
