Generous on-board credit on 2025/26 sailings of up to AU$1,550 per cabin

MS Kong Harald

Hurtigruten, the expert on Norway and its rugged coastline, has dropped its 2025/26 sailings and launched an incredible Early Bird offer. Your clients will receive up to AU$1,550 in onboard credit* (equivalent to 10,000 Norwegian kroner) on voyages in 2025 and early 2026.

The offer is valid on all three of Hurtigruten’s coastal journeys, including the recently launched Svalbard Express and North Cape Express, as well as the Original Coastal Express, the legacy route it has operated since 1893. As with all itineraries, all three sailings are available in full journeys or half voyages northbound and southbound, respectively.

Your clients can choose to spend their credit on a variety of exciting excursions and experiences. Whether it’s the exhilarating thrill of snowmobiling to the North Cape, traversing Tromsø by husky-drawn sleighs, or indulging in an award-winning 5-course degustation at their exquisite restaurant on the MS Trollfjord, Røst. Here’s a list of some of our favourite excursions:

  • Dog sledding in Tromsø. Your clients will enjoy sliding through the snowy landscape on an exhilarating sled ride, being pulled by a train of husky dogs and expert mushers.
  • Cross-Country Skiing. With fluffy, soft snow each winter, it’s no surprise that skiing is a popular pastime in Norway. Clients will enjoy an introductory skiing lesson, before going for a gentle cross-country skiing trip.
  • Snowmobile Trip In The Arctic. Clients will drive their own snowmobile through a beautiful winter landscape from one port to the next, hopefully under the Northern Lights.
  • Sámi Culture. Clients will meet an indigenous Sámi family in their traditional gamme to learn more from them about their way of life and their remarkable culture.

In addition to the Early Bird Sale, Hurtigruten is offering up to 30% off on Original Coastal Express voyages departing in 2024 and early 2025. Plus, for voyages departing between October 2024 to March 2025, they’re adding an extra layer of magic with an additional $150 per person to spend onboard*, making your client’s journey even more memorable.

Hurtigruten has operated the Original Coastal Express since 1893, while the new Svalbard Express and North Cape Express launched last year. A more premium take the new itineraries differ from the Original Coastal Express by spending more time in ports with the refurbished MS Trollfjord. The Svalbard Express is the only sailing linking the Norwegian mainland with the Svalbard archipelago and is timed around the Midnight Sun, whereas the North Cape Express sails during the popular Northern Lights season. As the Sun heads towards solar maximum in 2024/25 – a peak in solar activity that occurs every 11 years and sees an increased number of charged particles released into space, it means that the current and 2024/25 seasons offer some of the best-ever viewing opportunities of this natural phenomena.
