Hurtigruten’s highly anticipated small-group escorted tour, Follow The Lights, is back for the 2025/26 season.

Choose from both southbound and northbound voyages, with even more departure dates after their 2024/25 season sold out in record time.

On this fully escorted small-group tour (maximum of 24 guests), your clients will ride one of the world’s most famous trains, the Flåm Railway, and experience Hurtigruten’s Original Coastal Express voyage. They will visit charming hamlets, sail through picturesque fjords and hopefully see the magnificent Northern Lights on this journey up into Arctic Norway. Clients will visit Finnish Lapland and enjoy gazing up at the night sky inside their glass igloo. Then they will discover Rovaniemi, the official hometown of Santa Claus and explore the contemporary and historic architecture of Helsinki.

The tour includes a range of excursions, including the Flåm Railway journey, a fjord cruise on UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord, reindeer and husky safaris, a Santa Claus Village visit, and an overnight stay in a glass igloo.

Central to this expedition is the opportunity to witness nature’s most spectacular light show – the Aurora Borealis. Under the guidance of expert expedition teams, your clients will venture into the Arctic wilderness, where clear skies and minimal light pollution offer optimal conditions for viewing this celestial phenomenon. Plus, scientists predict the Solar Maximum in 2025 will result in the most frequent and impressive Northern Lights displays in more than a decade. Learn more about the solar maximum here.
