The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is edging closer to Australia, with the company unveiling its expansion into the Asia-Pacific region with its third ship, Luminara. Ten new journeys have been launched overnight, for sailings between December 2025 and May 2026.

With hubs in Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo, these freshly launched voyages will explore 28 ports across 10 countries, including Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Borneo, Brunei and beyond, providing unparalleled experiences for discerning travellers.

The set Asia Pacific itineraries range from a 10-day roundtrip voyage around Japan from/to Tokyo, to a 15-night positioning cruise from Singapore to Seward (Alaska) in May, indicating Ritz Carlton Yacht Collections’ future scheduling of Luminara will also certainly include a seasonal deployment of the Inside Passage.

LATTE can reveal this program leaves an intriguing whole in Luminara‘s schedule between the port of Athens, Greece in the second half of September 2025 and 30 December 2025 – the first confirmed Asia Pacific sailing from Singapore. Could this three-and-a-half month window of unassigned itineraries for Luminara be intended for a deployment in the Middle East, or perhaps more realistically, Australia and New Zealand? Time will tell.

Since its debut with Evrima in October 2022, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has welcomed travellers to embark on extraordinary journeys of discovery. With the upcoming launch of Ilma, the collection’s second luxury superyacht, slated for this September 2024, and the debut of Luminara, the third luxury superyacht, slated to set sail in July 2025, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection continues to redefine the category, delivering unforgettable explorations at sea.

Luminara will offer 226 suites, accommodating up to 452 guests. Learn more about the yacht here.
