The Darling has reinvigorated its spa, now called The Darling Spa (previously The Spa at The Darling), with the addition of a steam room, saltwater Jacuzzi and the state-of-the-art Darling Gym.
Designed by acclaimed Sydney architects Cox Richardson in conjunction with interior designers DBI Design and Stack Studio, The Darling Spa occupies the whole second floor of the hotel.
The mosaic aromatherapy heated steam room with saltwater Jacuzzi is a luxurious addition to the 13 treatment rooms, including two couple’s treatment rooms and a Hammam chamber with heated marble bed.
The state-of-the-art fitness facility, The Darling Gym, allows guests to sustain their fitness regime when staying at the hotel or visiting The Darling Spa. The gym includes two treadmills, a cross trainer, one upright bike, a Kinesis Wall by Technogym (the first to be set up in a hotel gym in Sydney) and yoga mats, with personal training sessions also available.
“This upgrade sees The Darling Spa broaden its offering whilst maintaining a level of luxury synonymous with The Darling brand,” says Catherine Lazarou, The Darling Spa manager.
“Through this reinvigoration and an experienced international team who have worked in luxury spas around the globe, our guests are now able to accommodate all their fitness and R&R needs whilst enjoying truly world class premium facilities and experiences.”
The new treatment menu showcases the spa’s partnerships with international luxury brands including ESPA. The Darling Spa is the only spa in Sydney to offer ESPA’s holistic treatments and natural products. ESPA International provides treatments for guests globally every day in over 450 spas in 55 countries.
“The Darling Spa experiences are luxurious, personal and professional with flexible and evolving treatment options allowing our guests to try something new or take comfort in the familiarity of their regular treatment,” says Lazarou.
