Kontiki Yacht Expeditions offers a new and sustainable “Neo-Luxury” way to explore destinations off the coast of Ecuador.Launching in mid-2021, Kontiki Yacht Expeditions will offer two eight-day itineraries aboard the nine-berth M/Y Kontiki Wayra, offering one-way voyages between Manta and Guayaquil and vice versa. The vessel is manned by a crew of 10 and two expert guides.Two sea expeditions provide an authentic immersion into the local cultures, traditions, and cuisine of each port, while creating a deep connection to the natural surroundings and communities.Sailing through five provinces of Ecuador, The Toquilla Expedition and The Spondylus Expedition will hug the Ecuadorian coastline, revealing “seldom-visited” locations including Bahia de Caraquez, Mompiche, Manta, Isla de la Plata, Salango, Machalilla, Ayangue, Santa Clara and Zaruma.
