To celebrate Air Tahiti Nui‘s new three-class configuration of its Tahitian Dreamliner, the Papeete-based carrier is offering passengers the chance to upgrade from Economy to Premium Economy for just $250* each way.On sale until 2 July 2018, guests who book Air Tahiti Nui’s sale airfare (Economy ‘O’ class) can upgrade to the new Moana Premium Economy class for $250 each way to enjoy the extra space and comfort of the premium cabin.The deal is valid for Air Tahiti Nui flights between Auckland and Papeete from 8 November 2018, when Air Tahiti Nui’s first Dreamliner commences service, through to 5 December 2018.
Return economy airfares from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane to Papeete via Auckland are currently on sale from just $1,219* per person for departures until 5 December 2018.To coincide with Air Tahiti Nui’s 20th anniversary this year, the flag carrier for French Polynesia is phasing out its current Airbus A340-300 fleet and replacing it with four 787-9 Dreamliners including two purchased and two leased through the Air Lease Corporation.The arrival of the 787-9 marks the launch of a new Premium Economy class, as well as the complete redesigning of the Business and Economy classes.

- The Moana Economy has 232 Z300 Zodiac Aerospace seats, configured in rows of 9 (3-3-3), especially designed for long-haul voyages with an articulated seat base and reclining capacity of 15 centimetres, making them one of the most comfortable new generation seats.
