Virtuoso hosted its second annual Virtuoso On Tour: Destinations event at the International Convention Centre in Sydney this week. Designed for travel agency members in Australia and New Zealand to network with Virtuoso partners across the globe, the event housed six destination-themed pavilions (Australia & The Pacific, UK & Europe, Canada, Asia & India, Africa & Middle East and USA & Latin America) where luxury travel advisors were able to explore unique, immersive product experiences.Thirty-six Virtuoso preferred partners, including tour operators, tourism boards and on-sites, were set across the different pavilions, showcasing their offerings and educating advisors on travel experiences for their clientele. Other hero events included a Professional Development Deep Dive led by Virtuoso’s local Professional Development Manager Jessica Sullivan and Account Director Michele Duncan. Titled ‘Sales Success: Elevate your Client Process,’ the session delivered a closer look into the Virtuoso Collaborative Travel Training Process. These key insights offered attending luxury travel advisors an opportunity to expand their expertise in creating exceptional travel experiences for their clients.

“It was incredible to see so many Virtuoso advisors from around Australia and New Zealand prioritise professional development and connection with our preferred partners by joining us for On Tour: Destinations for the second year in a row,” said Greg Treasure, Virtuoso General Manager, Australia & New Zealand.“The great turnout and collaboration at this year’s On Tour: Destinations further highlights the network’s collective commitment to fostering meaningful relationships.”Virtuoso’s Jennifer Campbell, Senior Vice President, Network Products & Events joined the event along with Cheryl Bunker, Vice President, Global Member Relations, to connect with Australia and New Zealand advisors and further understand the market. Campbell spoke at the Opening Session to delve further into key travel trends that were revealed during Virtuoso Travel Week last month, followed by Bunker’s presentation on how advisors can maximise their involvement with Virtuoso for continued growth, development and success.
“Our Australia and New Zealand members are extremely engaged, and it was a pleasure seeing them in action during our On Tour: Destinations,” said Campbell. “According to a Virtuoso Pulse Survey conducted this past July, 84% of our members in Australia and New Zealand feel optimistic about business right now. Their enthusiasm was on full display along with their commitment to their clients as they networked and collaborated with partners and their industry peers.”Virtuoso thanked Collette for sponsoring the event’s Opening Session and Brand USA for hosting the Advisor Appreciation party, held in recognition of the ongoing dedication and commitment of the Virtuoso advisor network. The event delivered a celebratory evening for the Virtuoso advisor network further reflecting the deep bond between Virtuoso and its advisors.
As Treasure told LATTE at Virtuoso Travel Week last month, the luxury travel consortia continues to welcome luxury travel advisors who aspire to take their careers to the next level. For those interested in joining a member agency and take part in Virtuoso’s Advisor Recruitment Program in Australia and New Zealand, visit becomeavirtuoso.com.Lead image: Rohit Kohli from Creative Travel – Jungle Sutra, with Virtuoso’s Cheryl Cheney Bunker, VP Global Member Relations and Jennifer Campbell , SVP, Network Products and Events
