Lore Group recently hosted its inaugural familiarisation for the Australian market, welcoming six luxury travel advisors to Pulitzer Amsterdam and Kimpton De Witt in the lead-up to ILTM Cannes. The group enjoyed a stay at the iconic Pulitzer Amsterdam, a unique property comprising of 25 Golden Age canal houses dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries. The hotel blends traditional Dutch craftsmanship with modern design, all nestled along the city’s most famous canals. The famil began with a visit to the Anne Frank House in the afternoon, followed by an evening at Kimpton De Witt’s restaurant, Celia, where guests were treated to a Thanksgiving-inspired menu.On the second day, the group embarked on a guided walking tour of the Jordaan district and the canal area. Known for its charming homes, boutique shops, and delightful restaurants, the Jordaan is considered the heart of Amsterdam. In the afternoon, the advisors enjoyed a private tour of GASSAN Diamonds, where they witnessed diamond polishers at work and learned about the fascinating process of turning rough stones into brilliant gems. The evening concluded with a private canal cruise, offering a close-up view of the Amsterdam Light Festival, followed by dinner at a stunning riverside location. The final day saw the troupe depart Amsterdam for Delft, a city renowned for its Royal Delftware – intricately hand-painted blue and white pottery. They toured the museum and participated in a hands-on painting workshop, creating their own Dutch tiles. The trip concluded with a closing dinner at Janz Restaurant. For some attendees, this was their first visit to Amsterdam, while for others, it had been over 25 years since their last trip.
