Hyatt’s Unbound Collection will make its Thai debut with the signing of two new hotels – The Barai Hua Hin and Narai Hotel in Bangkok – in 2026 and 2028 respectively.The two hotels are the result of management agreements inked with Chai Talay Hotel Co. Ltd and Narai Hotel Company Limited and will take Hyatt’s presence in the country to 17 hotels across eight brands.“We are proud to announce these plans to introduce The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Thailand with two distinctive properties in Hua Hin and Bangkok,” Hyatt Group President Asia Pacific David Udell said.“This marks an exciting chapter in our brand growth in the country and the Asia Pacific region. It underscores our commitment to delivering unique luxury experiences that today’s travellers increasingly seek.”

The Barai Hua Hin, expected to open in late 2026, will be adjacent to the beachfront Hyatt Regency Hua Hin. Designed by acclaimed Thai architect Lek Bunnag, the resort will centre around a holistic wellness philosophy. The property will feature the renowned The Barai spa with 18 treatment rooms and eight residential spa suites inspired by the four elements of Thai healing: earth, water, wind, and fire.In addition to its wellness offerings, The Barai Hua Hin will include 90 guest rooms and suites, a wellness centre, a central pool oasis, lush gardens, and two restaurants: McFarland House and The White House.Meanwhile, the Bangkok hotel will be part of Hatai, a visionary mixed-use development on the site of the iconic Narai Hotel in the heart of Silom, which will also be the location of Bangkok’s first Six Senses hotel.The property will offer 250 rooms and “story-worthy experiences” inspired by the hotel’s iconic heritage and the vibrant neighbourhood. The Narai Hotel will feature casual to premium dining, retail, and community spaces. Guests can expect an all-day dining venue, rooftop restaurant, lounge, fitness centre, pool, and event spaces, all within walking distance to Chong Nonsi BTS station.
