A strong sense of ambition and a desire to grow have been highlighted as a key driver for Link Travel Group‘s decision to invite Planet Blue Travel to join its growing network, General Manager Scott Darlow has revealed.A corporate agency specialising in SME, Planet Blue will be welcomed into Link Travel Group from 1 September 2025.Expanding on the recent addition, Darlow told LATTE that the business shares its core values around integrity, ambition, connection, collaboration and desire to grow.“They fit in as they are real ‘like minds’ with the rest of the group who all want to grow their businesses and the industry,” he said. “Planet Blue want to grow and be successful long term. We are the same, we don’t want anyone in our group who are just ‘going through the motions’”.As Link members, Planet Blue will now gain access to “the largest suite of supply in the country” as well as selected technologies. “we work with them and their team to integrate what they need into the business,” Darlow added.

The company already has good standing with Link’s supplier partners and are actively embracing new technologies such as NDC.Planet Blue Managing Director Michael Fattal expressed his excitement at being invited to join Link, describing it as an “amazing collective” of industry leaders. “I have watched them grow from afar, and now the time is right for our businesses to join forces, and we are now well positioned to realise our own growth potential and plans,” he said.Link’s expansion continues with the addition of Main Beach Travel, recently acquired by Goldman Group, which will join the network 1 October 2025, with Darlow also confirming that both Spencer Group of Companies and Spencer Travel Holdings will remain members.Looking forward, he shared that “targeted growth” is on the Link agenda. “Link remains invitation-only and will remain that way to ensure we get the ‘right’ member onboard,” he said.
