G Adventures’ new premium-end program has been a runaway success since its launch last year, says company Founder and CEO Bruce Poon Tip, with the adventure specialist rapidly expanding its Geluxe Collection to now encompass 45 itineraries in 26 countries.

G Adventures has launched a new style of travel featuring upgraded experiences, elevated dining, and one-of-a-kind accommodation, while maintaining a heavy focus on community and culture. The Geluxe Collection is a stable of 28 trips in 16 countries, with departures starting from May 2024.

G Adventures has introduced its first custom-built catamaran to its fleet of vessels in the Galapagos this northern hemisphere summer.

G Adventures has named Sean Martin as its new Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand, effective immediately.

National Geographic Expeditions will add eight new itineraries and three new destinations to its Journeys program, operated in partnership with G Adventures, in 2020. Now in its fifth year, the National Geographic Journeys  explore the history, culture and natural heritage of a destination.

Adventure travel specialist G Adventures has introduced a new Scottish land-based itinerary as an optional addition to three of its Norwegian expedition adventures for 2020. The new three-day itineraries include two days in Edinburgh and one in the Scottish Highlands, offering travellers a taste of Scotland in addition to their Norway Expedition.

National Geographic and G Adventures have introduced a range of trips called National Geographic Family Journeys with G Adventures. The program comprises 12 trips and feature unique National Geographic-inspired experiences for children and adults to connect as a family.

G Adventures has developed a collection of tours dedicated to wellness and adventure. The small group tour operator’s new ‘Wellness’ travel style features a program of trips in 10 destinations, all designed to help travellers slow down, find their balance and reconnect with the world and with themselves.

Add one more travel segment that Forbes Travel Guide (“FTG”) is now affording its star rating: river cruises.
