Avis Budget Group recently aligned with Link Travel Group in order to seek feedback on the future of Electronic Vehicles (EVs) in the rental space.Avis Budget Group loaned Link Travel Group a Tesla Model Y Electric Vehicle for a week which was driven by various Link Agency Owners and Link Management who all provided valuable insights and opinions that Avis Budget Group will evaluate and use to set future corporate rental strategies.“Link is an innovating group at the cutting edge of the industry, and we were happy to partner with Avis Budget Group on this initiative,” remarked Scott Darlow, General Manager of Link “Several Link agency owners drove the EV and by the end of the week we were able to supply ABG with a comprehensive report on where we believe the corporate opportunities exist.”
“No doubt, sometime in the future corporate policies will mandate preferential use of EVs and we know our partners such as ABG will be ready to fulfil that demand,” Darlow said.
